Here's Jaren on the morning we took him to the MTC.  Does he look a little nervous?!?  He needed to be at the MTC at 1:00 and we were planning on meeting Jeff and Cristi at the Macaroni Grill for lunch before he went away for two years.  Church leaders ask that only close family go to the MTC now to help keep the numbers down.  Jeff and Cristi wanted to see Jaren one more time before he left.  My mom went with us.  Grandparents are considered close family.  Maybe she felt the spirit enough to be the next missionary in our family!
